Hi guys! A few posts back I had shared with you two different ways to wear a NICHOLAS dress. If you will recall, NICHOLAS is a chic, feminine Australian brand that’s also my latest obsession. Their pieces are always so versatile, and to demonstrate that, I’m bringing the multi-purpose theme back again – one NICHOLAS floral top, two ways ✌🏻
Everything about this blouse just screams SPRING – its gorgeous floral print, the delicate ruffle details, and of course the bow-tie front. You’ve probably seen me donning bow-tie tops or dresses a few times by now. It’s classy with a touch of youthfulness, perfect for both work and play. Style this blouse with a pair of wide leg trousers and you’re instantly boardroom ready. Switch out those pants for some distressed denim and you’re good to go for drinks with your girlfriends. You may even be able to wear this out to a nice date-night dinner with black leather pants and pumps – talk about versatility!
The color red has historically not been my favorite color – can probably count on one hand how many red pieces I own – but I’ve slowly warmed up to it (no pun intended!). Over the past year I’ve learned to gradually embrace red, starting with red lips, bags, shoes, and now a vibrant blouse. It was also assuring to hear Glenda Bailey at the Harper Bazzar “What to Wear S/S 2017” luncheon last week listing pink and red as two of the hottest trends this year. If you’re not a fan of the color like me, I highly recommend trying it out in small doses. Besides, there’s no better time to experiment with red than spring! 🌸
Happy Monday, everyone! I’m beyond excited that spring is finally in full swing here in NYC 🌸 We’ve been shooting more outfits outdoors lately and I just wanted to quickly share my latest spring look with you. I found these laced up jeans (also similar here and here) that’d go perfectly with my Jonathan Simkhai laced up shirt. To top it off with some spring color, I overlaid it with this gorgeous pink long vest. Hope you enjoyed this look, and stay tuned for more spring styles to come!
Happy first week of spring, everyone! I’m beyond excited that the weather is finally starting to warm up (even for just a little bit) 🙂 Throughout this cold, harsh winter I’ve been using a lot of Asian sheet masks to keep my skin hydrated. Now that we’re transitioning into spring, it’s once again time to update my skin care routine. Today I want to share with you my nighttime routine using Tree Hut products.
Happy Monday, friends! I wanted to share a quick date night look with you from NICHOLAS, an Australian label that is my latest obsession. You all know how much I love British and Australian fashion. I find their designs to be more feminine, creative, and refreshing. Oftentimes the details are so distinctive yet also versatile and effortless. NICHOLAS is no exception to this. It is actually becoming my go-to for nice occasions. This NICHOLAS whisper floral dress has such a beautiful print while the lace panel details and waist tie design add another layer of subtle girliness without overdoing it. If you guys have a chance, I highly recommend checking out this label!
Hello friends – Hope you all had a fantastic start to the new year 🙂 Can’t believe we’re already one month into 2017. My apologies for the hiatus here on WID in the last 2 months…things always get crazier during the holiday season. I have, however, stayed active on Instagram and Snapchat (@whenindoubtblog), so I hope you are following along there!
At the end of November we traveled to Dubai and India for our dear friends’ wedding. It was such a whirlwind of a week, and I look forward to recapping it all for you here. In December, we reunited with my family in Tokyo, Japan. With everyone being in different places (hubby and I in NY, my sister’s family in Cali and my parents in Asia), family trips during Xmas have become an annual tradition.
Back to back traveling can often take a toll on your body. So whenever I do that, being comfortable is a top priority. I found these Lee jeans right before the holidays and have been so in love with them ever since. The fabric is super soft, providing plenty of stretch and comfort without losing shape. The material moves with your body so the style held up nicely after an entire day of sightseeing in Tokyo. It also felt like I was wearing leggings, which is always a plus! 🙂 I specifically picked the short petite (SP) length to show my ankles when I wear these with flats, loafers, or sneakers. I have yet to try them with boots, but am pretty sure they’ll look fantastic as well! The best part? They’re extremely affordable at less than $50 – one of each color for me please!
